FIRM PROFILE
John Knorr works with persons who have been accused of crimes in order to achieve the best possible outcome in what may be difficult, if not impossible, legal situations.
His practice includes representation of criminal defendants in serious federal and state matters. Some of his criminal defense cases include murder, manslaughter, drug offenses, domestic violence, sex offenses (including child molestation, sexual assault, rape and other sexual crimes), and weapons offenses. He maintains an office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but practices throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a Director of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, which recently honored him with its President's and Directors' Commendation in recognition of his tireless efforts and extraordinary contributions to the association. Mr. Knorr is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Notre of Dame and was a member of the Law Review at the Duquesne University School of Law. He brings to his practice a rather unique biographical history in that he has never been employed as a prosecutor or as a member of the Office of the Public Defender, always available as a private lawyer to serve the public.
John Knorr has represented clients from throughout the country, including New York, Alabama, Ohio, Idaho, Texas and all counties in Pennsylvania.
